Vietnam Tours - Explore the beauty of the Far East

Vietnam is a wonderful and very diverse country to visit. Either on your own or in a tour group you will enjoy the variety of people, sceneries and cultural differences. During my first visit I spend 6 weeks in the country. It wasn't enough to see what I wanted to see what I really wanted.

You can however do shorter tours. 6 weeks might be a little long for most travelers. The tours offered here are of course only showing the tip of the iceberg, so to say.

Hanoi, a beautiful little temple in the heart of the city

No time to spend in the country? Take a tour of 10-15 days. This will show you all the highlights, from Hanoi to Saigon in just 12 days seeing what is essential to know about the country.

Adventurous travelers might want to have a look at the Vietnam Hike, Bike & Kayak tour which will criss cross you through Vietnam with exploring the best of the country.

Village on the way to Hoi AnA Classic Vietnam tour goes from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay, Hue and Hoi An and further south to Ho Chi Minh City and can be done in 10 days.

Of course you will miss some other highlights, but you can extend such a tour with a tour to the Roof of Vietnam or an extended visit to Nha Trang and visit the beaches and do a boat trip to the seawater aquarium.

Bicycle and adventure tours in Vietnam and South East Asia

Needless to say the best way (in my opinion) is to explore south east Asia on bicycle. I've been roaming all over the south east Asian countries. However, not everyone likes to explore like what I did. You might like a bike tour here and there when you are on the road.

The great thing is, this is nowadays more than ever possible. For example, fly in to Saigon and cycle to Angkor Wat and continue on your own to Bangkok from where you explore the southern Islands but join a bike tour in South of Thailand. Fly back to Hanoi and do some exploration around Hoa Lu And Tam Coc on bicycle.

This way you keep your freedom of traveling and can still find some awesome spots on your journey in south east Asia. For special bicycle tours you may want to check out:

The Mekong Delta

The Mekong Delta is usually skipped or only quickly done by travelers. There is still much to experience and certainly worth a visit.

City of the emperors of the Nguyen dynasty. Much has been destroyed but there is still enough left to make a visit more then worthwhile.

Nha Trang

Nha Trang, also called the Gold Coast of Vietnam is the country's primary beach holiday destination. In the area there are good persevered Champa temples to be seen.
