Attapsana Guesthouse Hostel is one of the best guesthouses in Kuala Lumpur located close to Puduraya bus station.
There are 4 types of rooms:
Rainforest Bed And Breakfast
The Rainforest B&B is another excellent choice in town. It is located in Bukit Bintang. It looks like a forest on a gradual hill with trees and plants.
Rainforest Bed And Breakfast is a unique boutique budget hostel. Spotlessly clean, cozy, comfortable and friendly ambient. All rooms and dormitories are fully air-conditioned and are mostly with attached bathrooms.
Most tourist attractions like Bintang Walk (shopping heaven area), KL Tower, Petronas Twin Tower, tourist information center, exciting entertainment discotheque, night clubs, food center, major hotel and hostel, banks and foreign exchange bureau is just a few minutes away from this KL guesthouse.
The Equator Hostel is a typical backpackers guesthouse in Kuala Lumpur. It is one of the many hostels at Jalan Pudu, located near Chinatown, bus station and mono rail. Although this is a very busy street area, the hostel should be recommended for the friendly staff and clean rooms.
The Equator Hostel is a 3-storey post-colonial house. The hostel offers spaciously accommodating mixed dorms, single, double, twin and triple rooms.
Coffee and tea are free and there is internet available.
Reggae Guest House 2
The Reggae Guest House 2 is a brand new guest house centrally located in the heart of Chinatown (next door to famous reggae bar ).
Available are air-conditioned rooms (though a bit small), free internet / Wi-Fi, free breakfast and hot power showers.
Staff is friendly and helpful. One traveler says it this way:
"This guesthouse comes very close to being the best I've ever stayed in. The staff were simply fantastic, helpful, friendly, talkative.. The place was very clean, and even has a cleaner who, despite my protests to do it myself, kept cleaning up after me at breakfast.
There was a good lounge area, perfect for meeting people, non stop TV with a good selection of films to watch on a rainy day, and free internet. The location was good too, with the bus station two minutes walk away."
Backpackers Travelers Inn
The last Kuala Lumpur guesthouse we recommend is the Backpackers Travelers Inn. It's another good central located guesthouse in Chinatown, city center. The outside of the building doesn't look much but inside it's clean with a friendly and helpful staff.
The Inn offers several booking services.
One traveler says: "If you are just looking for a place to crash at night because you are going to be running around during the day than this place is great. There is a bar on the top floor which is good and they have breakfast on the deck bar every morning wish was AMAZING and cheap BTW. I would recommend this place and I am coming back. Its not fancy and its not the prettiest place but this place is cheap and great."
