The Diamond International Hotel Xian is also conveneint located, close to the railway station and the local buses to the Terracotta Warriors. The staff of the hotel, as I remember very well, was very friendly and helpful, some spoke enough English. All of the guest rooms are comfortable and nicely equipped to give a feeling of being home while away from home. The hotel restaurants provide a rich selection of international menu as well as local cuisine in a relaxing atmosphere. Cheaper food is available in the near surrounding. The Garden Hotel Xian borders on Tang Paradise in the east, on Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the west. Its construction style was melt in the Chinese traditional landscaping. There are beautiful courtyard, lake and peacock in hotel. That all sounds great and it isgreat except that the hotel is located about 5 km from the city center. Considering the size of the city, that is not really a problem, a taxi brings you for a few RMB to the city center.
