Hotels in Ubud
Where Kuta is overrun by mass tourism, Ubud is relatively laid back. Yes,
mass tourism has arrived her too, but it seems all in a slower pass. In Ubud
you will find high end and low budget hotels, many are cheaper and better
then in Kuta. If you want to stay low budget, Ubud is certainly a better
option. Plus, there's a lot of culture to be seen in Ubud.

As one traveler wrote: "Waka di Ume is an amazing place to stay - it is away
from the town centre of Ubud but near enough for a day of shopping. It is
definitely a place to go to get away from everything, do absolutely nothing and
just relax or maybe take a swim in the amazing pool or have a Lhurlur massage!!
Very friendly and polite staff. It was a pleasure to stay there, I would
recommend this place - ideal for a bit of romance"
