Hotels in Kuala Lumpur can be a tough job to find one for your desires. Many are expensive, a few are cheap, and fewer are bicycle friendly. We do get regular request from readers about hotel facilities in KL. We hope this page gives you some ideas where to stay in the Malaysian capital. The dirt cheap hotels you will find around Puduraya bus station and the KL Sentral railway station. Don't expect any quality though.

Heritage Station Hotel is another cheaper option in Kuala Lumpur. The Heritage Station Hotel located at the Kuala Lumpur Train Station. Here you can experience a little of the colonial days of Malaya.

The China Town Inn Hotel is a two star budget hotel (recommended in Lonely Planet). The hotel has clean rooms in the heart of Kuala Lumpurs Chinatown.

Attapsana Guesthouse Hostel is another very popular and excellent guesthouses in Kuala Lumpur. It's located close to Puduraya bus station. Given the fact that many hotels in this area (it is a hotspot) are 3 to 4 times more expensive though seldom better, this is a great choice.

Attapsana Guesthouse Hostel Kuala LumpurIt has become a backpackers favorite because of the ambiance. Staff is very helpful in sorting out what to do and where to go in KL. And the rooms? They are fine, clean and comfortable, as good as you can expect from a low budget place as this one.

Citin Pudu Hotel Kuala Lumpur

The Citin Pudu Hotel Kuala Lumpur is a budget hotels in Kuala Lumpur. Located in the Puduraya district this is a no frills hotel where you get what you pay for. Nothing fancy, just a decent (renovated) room with decent facilities. It was formerly known as Katari Hotel (in which circumstance I remember it, and it was an OK deal)
