Hotels in Tehran
Mashad Hotel Tehran
The Mashad Hotel Tehran is one of the more affordable hotels in
Iran, in Tehran where hotels can be really expensive. According to a friend
this hotel has clean rooms
though, like many hotels in Iran, they need maintenance. As for a 3 star
hotel in Iran, my friend thought it was a good deal. (I didn't stay myself
in Tehran)
The Kowsar Hotel Isfahanis is a much better choice then the
hotel with the same name in Tehran. The room facilities at Kowsar Hotel in
Isfahan include: individually controlled air conditioning unit, cable TV,
telephone with direct international and domestic dialing facilities,
immaculate bathroom with necessary toiletries inside, hair dryer, in room
safe and refrigerator.
There are several restaurants located inside the premise of Kowsar Hotel
in Esfahan. Named as Simin Coffee Shop or the Coffee Lounge, Traditional

Lebanon Restaurant; savor a variety of dishes. Other hotel amenities and
services at Kowsar Hotel in Isfahan include: swimming pool, reception desk,

rental.
This hotel is indeed one of the most well known hotels in Iran.
Iran is an amazing country. The people are beautiful, the
sights are spectacular. This tour will bring you in 14 days a perfect
introduction into a much underrated (tourism) country.
The journey starts in Tehran and brings you further to Hamadan,
Ahvaz, Shiraz and Persepolis to Yazd. From Yazd the journey goes to
Esfahan and back to Tehran.
If you are searching for a luxurious hotels in Iran in Isfahan the Ali Qapu Hotel
should be your choice.
The hotel is
located in the heart of the city. There are 97 rooms
(singles & doubles) and 5 suites. Among the room facilities there are air
conditioning, attached bath, refrigerator, mini-bar, IDD telephone, Cable
TV, broadband internet access etc.
All rooms have balconies and are done up beautifully to suit your taste
and style.
It's your number one choice if you are looking for a splurge in Esfahan.
One of the most celebrated Hotels in Tabriz in Iran is the Gostaresh
Hotel. I spend here one night and I don't remember much of it, as I was
on the way back to Turkey being very sick. I do remember the staff was
helpful although they couldn't imagine why someone would travel by bicycle
in weather like those days (it was February and there was son the road.
The room I got was clean and warm with plenty of hot water. But the next
morning I left early by bus to the border and from there a bus back to
Istanbul where I ended up in a hospital. I had a salmonella and amoeba
bacteria in my body for around 2 or 3 months. However, the Gostaresh Hotel
staff I won't easy forget and all that I wanted that night was a warm room
and a good bed.
I have memories of the Eram Hotel, I've spend here several days in
bed with a serious infection that eventually lead me a week or 2 later into
a hospital in Istanbul but that is a complete different story.
When I stayed here the room I had was neither large or small but had a clean
bathroom.
Despite the fact the hotel is nearby for example the Hafez Tomb and the Saadi
Tomb I didn't see neither of them (to weak to go out).
I also can't tell you about the onsite restaurant because I was too sick to
eat much more than bread and tea.
But I do remember the staff was amazingly friendly and gave me advice where
to find a doctor (which in the end I found with the help of a druggist). I would
recommend this hotel in Shiraz very much.
Iran is not a high priority tourist destination for most people.
That's too bad as the country has a lot to offer, especially for
cyclists. The people are amazingly friendly and always willing to help
you out, even if you don't need help. Indeed a travelers gem!
