top notch service as you will want from a hotel in this price range. The
hotel is like the Sheraton (5 minutes away) located in the heart of the city
at Ton Duc Thang Street with rooms with river views.
There are 282 rooms with an Atrium Cafe serving Western and Asian dishes.
Being an ideal place in the city of Saigon, this hotel offers a warm welcome,
pleasant ambience and convenient facilities to make your stay a memorable one.
Situated in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, the Legend Hotel is in the Ton Duc
Thang Street. This property is close to the Saigon's scenic riverside area and
major commercial areas. Recreational facilities such as the gymnasium or the
swimming pool can be utilized to enhance your physical and mental well-being.

$60 is very good choice. The hotel is located in the central district of Ho
Chi Minh City with only a 5 minutes walk to Ben Thanh Market and main
shopping area.
One traveler says: "We stayed here for 2 nights upon arrival into Vietnam.
The location is great for the tourist spots and sightseeing and the staff are
friendly and helpful. The rooms are on the small side but have all the necessary
amenities and are very clean. The breakfast buffet was good and is served on a
balcony overlooking the city."
The Empress Hotel Ho Chi Minh is a more economy hotel in Ho Chi
Minh City although it's location might not be the very best, it is still in
a decent location. It is a small hotel (6 floors, 40 rooms) with good
service and friendly staff. As I remember from my first visit to Saigon it
was affordable, clean very good customer service. I've stayed here twice,
and definitely stay here again if I come back.
Rooms are comfortable and decorated with charming, colonial style influence
complete with Italian tiles and old wood finish. To make your stay feel more
tranquil, our front view rooms are also equipped with sound-proof glass (nice to
keep the noise of the streets out). Rooms go for US $25 and on.
The Hong Vy 1 Hotel Ho Chi Minh is another economy hotel in the
city center. From time to time they stunt with prices, making the rooms half
the price as they usually have.
The hotel is in close proximity to several cultural, tourist attractions as
well as entertainment and shopping areas. Guests can convenient visit Chi Minh
city landmarks as Ben Thanh Market, City Park, Notre Dame Cathedral Church,
Opera House and Saigon River.
As there are many hotels in the Ben Thahn Market area why mention this
one? Good beds & fantastic location, quiet area too. However, be careful to
try to get a room with a window. It's good deal for the money.
The Le Duy Hotel Ho Chi Minh get thumbs up from travelers. One
travelers says: ""Excellent value for the money. Quiet in a city full of
horns, very clean rooms, helpful staff, excellent breakfast with a wide
selection of foods. Near a large park that was a peaceful respite. We were
quite pleased and stayed here at the start and end of our 5-week trip in
