The Landscape Yiyuan Fuyuan Hotel Dali is one of the top end and top notch hotels in Dali. It is a pagoda-style design hotel in Dali. Facilities of the hotel include sauna/spa, a very good vegatarian restaurant, grill restaurant and more.

There are 315 rooms with kingsize beds, cable TV, internet facilities.

Asia Star Hotel Dali

The Asia Star Hotel Dali claims to have the class of a 5 star hotel though it is a bit dated. Travelers recommend the Spa. The hotel is popular with organized groups who are not always happy with the hotel as it is not a 5 star hotel. Independent travelers feel better as ease with the Taiwanese owner and the helpful staff.

Rooms, 272, are clean and spacious and the hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the Dali town center.

Jim's Peace Cafe & Guest HouseJim's Peace Cafe & Guest House

Jim's Peace Cafe & Guest House is also known as the No.3 Guesthouse. Just to make things confusing for the fun of it, there used to be two No.3 Guesthouses in Dali (Gucheng).

However, the No.3 "Sunny Garden" shut down, leaving Jim's Peace Cafe & Guesthouse the only No.3 in town. Jim's Peace is a combination of both a cafe and a comfortable budget guesthouse.

Jim's is located on Bo'ai Lu with Huguo Lu is just around the corner. Jim's Guesthouse offers dorm beds starting from RMB10 with a triple available for RMB45. Single and double rooms with bathrooms are available though you have to book in advance as the place is always full.

Jim's Peace Cafe is a popular place, for many years and it's unlikely you won't see this place while staying in Dali. The cafe serves good, ethnic Bai, Western and Chinese food. Jim has a reputation for his medicine whiskey, something to try out. It's one of the best places to hang out for a couple of days.

San Ta Yuan HotelSan Ta Yuan Hotel Dali

San Ta Yuan Hotel is a 3-star hotel located in San Ta Park of Chongsheng Temple which has a History of over 1300 years. Covering 23,000 square meters of land with famous Cangshan Mountain on the back and facing the Ethan Lake. San Ta Yuan Hotel is one of a few 3-star garden style hotels in China.

It is architectural style is in harmony with the Guanyin Palace and Bell Tower in the Park which is a typical palace complex of Tang dynasty. Sat in a classical and elegant environment with fresh air and surrounded by beautiful flowers and tall green trees. Pavilions, long corridors, small bridges connecting various pools, and green grassland, San Ta Yuan Hotel has a unique scenery and attracts many Chinese and foreign visitor.

Lan Lin Ge Hotel Dali, a 3 star hotel in Dali is worth considering. It is located at Yu Er road, the Ancient Town of Dali. The unique hotel shows a different style courtyard architecture of the nationality of Bai.

The hotel offers 160 guestrooms with an area of 7,500 square meters and the building area is 4,500 square meters. This is a basic hotel offering good facilities and accommodation in an unbeatable location. Business facilities include business center and meeting rooms that have equipped with audio visual system. There are also Chinese restaurants, services the nationality of Bai cuisine and Dali cuisine.
