Thiripyitsaya Sakura Hotel BaganThe Thiripyitsaya Sakura Hotel Bagan is maybe not your first choice as a cyclist. However, if you can spend the money, it is an excellent choice.

Since its renovation and extension in late 2001 the resort type hotel has become a symbol of quality in Bagan.

The open, tropical design of the new Verandah Grill & Bar, the Spa and The Pavilion, as well as the new look of the reception and Nadi Restaurant have given the hotel a new atmosphere of warmth paired with elegance and comfort. Japanese management.

The 76 rooms (32 superior, 4 suite river view, 4 suite river front view, 27 deluxe garden view and 9 deluxe river view) are divided into 17 low-slung villas scattered through the big English-style garden. Each offers a spacious, private veranda. The rooms feature beautiful wooden floors and furniture, colonial patterns.

All the rooms are equipped with modern amenities to ensure you a comfortable stay. Some of the rooms overlook the Irrawaddy River, while the rest face pagodas, birds sanctuary garden and swimming pool. Guests can dine at the onsite restaurant that serves Chinese, Burmese as well as western dishes.

Ruby True Hotel Bagan

Ruby True Hotel BaganRuby True Hotel Bagan is another excellent choice for a decent price. It is a bungalow style, family run hotel. The friendly staff and personal service gives it a very special touch. The 6 bungalows with 6 rooms each (total 36 rooms) are constructed in local design.

Typical bamboo matt-walls and carved wood surrounded by neat plants. Each room has its own veranda with 2 rattan chairs. The interior decoration is simple but convenient.

Kumudara Hotel Bagan

Every time you open the curtains, you can see the panorama view of Bagan's temples. You can see hundreds of pagodas and at least 10 famous pagodas. The Kumudara Hotel Bagan is one of the cheaper options and still have excellent facilities. Recommended for cyclists.
