Chinese New Year in Kuala Kurau


One of the most important festivals for Chinese people world wide is the Chinese New Year. It is usually celebrated in February. In 2007, I was a guest in Kuala Kurau, were most of the people are Hokkiens. Kuala Kurau is a little fishermen village just south of Penang.

Nine Emperor Gods Festival

The Nine Emperor Gods festival is a festival celebrated in many countries including Malaysia. I was guest of Mr. Chandra and Mrs. Pearly and together we visited the festival in Penang and Butterworth.
