Nipah Guesthouse Pangkor
In 2009 the Nipah Guesthouse Pangkor opened with only a few rooms. Slowly it expanded for the simple reason they offer a great value for the money spend. Of course I had to check it out. After all, a new guesthouse with a good name, a friendly family style atmosphere is what I want to offer.
I visited early January 2011 for the first time to find out what they offer. The Nipah Guesthouse Pangkor has very clean comfortable rooms. The Deluxe Chalet has aircon and TV while the guesthouse offers aircon and TV in the common room. On the wall they have placed some very nice ink drawings they found on the street market in Malacca! (I told them I would love to obtain them which they refused!).
In March 2013, Annuar told me he was working on a pool! Of course I was interested to find out whaT it would be. When I visited on May 11, Annuar told me it was the first dat with water in the pool! Lucky me!
Like many of the hotels/guesthouses at Pangkor, Nipah Guesthouse is frequently visited by the local hornbills. Annuar feeds them with bread and fruits so you will see them flying in and out., especially later at the day when all over Teluk Nipah they're busy searching for food.
Prices and packages
The Deluxe Chalets have attached bathrooms and TV.

Pangkor is a great little way out of mainstream tourism. Find cool clean beaches, go for jungle trekking and enjoy the local food.
