From Beijing to Moscow by bike and train

Hi, my partner and I are planning to travel from Beijing to Moscow (china, Mongolia, Russia), because we only have two months we would do sections by train and sections on the bike; We haven't traveled in that area so we don't have an idea on which sections we should cycle and which sections we should cover by train. We would like to cycle two weeks or so, in each of the three countries. Do you have any advise on this? Any further advice is welcome.

Bike journeys

Hi there,

I am doing a similar trip in the opposite direction.
We will do bike journeys in Moscow then go by train non-stop to Irkutsk and cycle on Olkhon Island at Lake Baikal and continue by train from Irkutsk to Ulan Bator and go on a 10 days Mountainbike tour through Mongolia and then continue by train from Ulan Bator to Beijing.
