7th Heaven Cafe & Hostel

The 7th Heaven Cafe & Hostel is a long time favorite of us in Yangshuo. The cafe is owned by William Lu and his wife Linda Liang who, over the years became great friends. William and Linda own also the great Snow Lion Resort, located just outside the town center and which is highly recommended.

Originally located right in the middle of West Street, the 7th Heaven moved to the more quiet location where it is now: Chengzhong Road.

At its present location, the cafe is a spacey place with 7 rooms upstairs. The rooms are all spacious and very comfortable with hot water, air-con, TV and balcony.

If you decide to stay in 7th Heaven, make sure you get the corner room, its slightly bigger but it also has two windows with views over Yangshuo.

With the location at Chengzhong Road you will enjoy a more quiet atmosphere. The cafe is spacey and has good service. Also there is space on the first floor (second in Chinese terms) to park your bicycle. Cleaning your bike after cycling on the muddy path is possible behind the 7th Heaven Cafe & Hostel.

My favorite breakfast in 7th Heaven is still the Swiss breakfast (though I have no idea what is so Swiss about this breakfast).

Sizzling beef.

Although many dishes on the menu are very good, it's worth to mention the different fresh made breads and pizzas. However, some recommended dishes on the 7th Heaven menu further are the Sichuan gong bao chicken, sate, beef on sizzling plate and much more.
